Part of APA RI’s mission is to advocate for community planning. APA RI reaches out to local, state and federal elected officials and policy makers on issues related to community planning on a regular basis. During the legislative session each year, APA RI will provide letters of support or opposition on bills that impact planning throughout the state. Additionally, our legislative liaison and other board members, as well as chapter members.
