Marine Research Associate III, Resilience- University of RI (CRC)

The University of Rhode Island’s Coastal Resources Center is hiring an early to mid-career level coastal resilience practitioner. In association with RI Sea Grant, we focus on issues related to storms and rising seas, their impacts, and options for a resilient future.  Through our extension work, we develop/share decision-making tools, applied science applications, training, and outreach programs with a broad range of stakeholders in Rhode Island and beyond.

Required Qualifications: 
Master’s degree in marine or environmental policy, science, management, planning, or related field.
Minimum of three years of professional experience providing technical knowledge (e.g. coastal management, natural resources management, applied science) in a government, business, environmental, and/or educational organization.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Pay Grade Range: $59,775 - $90,879
