Project Planner II- Toole Design, Boston

Toole Design Group in Boston, MA is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Project Planner II. Required Qualifications of a Project Planner II:

Most candidates achieve the level of expertise and experience needed for this role in about six years in the field of transportation planning. There is not a requirement for a specific academic degree in any particular discipline.
You have experience in several, but not all of the following broad areas: bicycle and pedestrian planning and design, transit planning, multi-modal corridor studies, community and stakeholder engagement, and/or policy (e.g., curbside management, parking, TDM, micro-mobility).
You have demonstrable success in managing transportation planning projects, producing high quality work products, developing positive client relationships, and inspiring and motivating those around you.
You have strong written and presentation skills and have served as primary author for planning documents in previous positions.
You are insightful and bring both a data-driven analytical approach and a qualitative people-centered approach to planning.
You enjoy staying on the cutting edge in a rapidly changing field.
You are interested in helping push for new and better ways to think about and incorporate equity both internally within the firm and externally with respect to how we frame and deliver projects.
Preferred, but not required, qualifications:

We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong transit planning background.
A strong working knowledge of the Greater Boston region’s geography, agencies, and political landscape is a plus.
Prior experience in consulting.
Experience writing proposals and leading business development.
