Town Planner- Oxford, MA
The town of Oxford is currently accepting applications for a Town Planner.
The position provides technical, administrative, and strategic planning support to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals by reviewing and making recommendations on development proposals; leading the administration of permitting processes; and assisting landowners, developers, and the general public with the development process.
A master’s degree in planning, public administration, or environmental science preferred, with a minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience in municipal land use or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
The position is negotiable as a part-time or full-time position and is benefits eligible. Compensation is commensurate with education, training, and experience. Alcohol, controlled substance testing, and criminal background testing is mandatory. AICP certification preferred. GIS proficiency preferred.
